The podcast discusses both the Web Marketing Chain and Online Branding, both of which we discussed in class this week. We expand on the topic of online branding by addressing both branding in social networks and branding in the virtual worlds. We include some examples of firms using both strategies to improve their online presence.

Great first run!

I enjoyed listening to the 4 perspectives pertaining to the subject matter. The sound came across clearly and easy to follow.

The interlace of current articles brought relevance to the subject matter. Each presenter appears to have reviewed their material, making their presentations flawless.

I was more surprised with Ben's section. His presentation seemed more adlib. However, I enjoyed his section more. From my perspective, I felt that I was listening to talk radio. It just felt comfortable.

As for the presentation, I think applying the rules of public speaking could help organize the podcast.

Every speaker had their part. Each part was excellent. I felt that each part could have been wrapped together.

In public speaking:
1. First part is to tell the audience what they will hear. (Ram..., Anna..., Ben..., Amanda... will discuss 4 perspectives of branding/market chain.)

2. Discuss each part. (Great job on that)

3. Conclusion: Summarize and tell the most important topic of each part. This will help to leave an imprint on the audience.

Again, great first run, great sound, great relevance. Thanks for being the first group.

I liked the conversational approach taken by Ben and the examples Anna listed. Overall, the group did a good job as a first run. My suggestions would be to (1) venture beyond textbook material for some of the topics (e.g., web marketing chain); (2) weave examples into certain topics; and (3) integrate the four parts a little more to make it a whole unit.
